1000meetings Live Experiences: The Green Studio at Intercontinental Singapore

1000meetings' most recent Live Experience was held at Intercontinental Singapore and we visited The Green Room, a state-of-the-art, purpose-built virtual and hybrid event studio equipped with full multimedia production facilities. For those who are wondering where it's located exactly, the space was previously known as The Vault. 

The Green Room might be modest on live-audience capacity but the space sure is flexible. Nestled within its 206sqm are 3 zones that combines the hotel’s expertise in meetings and events with cutting-edge technology and world-class equipment, seamlessly supported by a professional on-site technical team.

1) LED Display Wall – a custom-fit 6m by 2.5m display screen, harnessing LED technology to deliver seamless and optimised digital imagery and video.
2) Green Screen Stage – a 180-degree infinity cove green screen stage with studio lighting and multi-camera setups to optimise chroma keying for live green screen blending and editing.
3) The Event Space – A contemporary setting offering multiple configurations (classroom, cluster or cocktail) for live-studio audiences of up to 30 attendees.

And the group definitely had a go at experiencing the vibes and capabilities of the studio!

Upclose with the Green Screen Stage. Definitely broadcast-ready with those lights diffusing nicely. 

With a certain sense of optimism, a common question was about expansion beyond the capacity limits of The Green Room as meeting planners take steps to prepare for the eventuality. Good news is, the broadcast can be streamed to the Grand Ballroom on Level 2 and the set-up can also be replicated for an extended hybrid event. While the industry is excited to get meeting again, the safety of everyone remains top priority and Intercontinental Singapore is committed to its continued delivery of True Hospitality while empowering meeting planners and attendees to Meet with Confidence. 

Compact but feature-rich, the Green Room offers two meeting solutions - Virtual Meetings with broadcast-quality live-stream capabilities to deliver real-time connections between clients and guests around the globe; and Hybrid Meetings, ideal for events with that include a live studio audience of up to 30 guests, and unlimited online global attendees.
